The Duncan family, the makers of Ealing Gin, have lived in the West London borough for four generations. We love it for its friendliness, diversity, its rich cultural heritage, its vibrant social life and most of all its wonderful community spirit – from which we’ve benefitted greatly.
Ealing was nicknamed the “Queen of the Suburbs” over a century ago. The famous Ealing Studios, the tree-lined streets, pretty public parks, and the lively, stylish social scene meant it became a magnet for film-makers, actors, musicians and artists. Beautiful Art Deco buildings sprang up across the borough, more and more people came, a theatre and Blues Club were established and by the early 60s Ealing had very firmly established its ‘reign’.
To this day the Queen of the Suburbs lives up to its name, still classy at heart, still stylishly sociable, still down to earth and welcoming. So, if anywhere deserves its own gin it’s Ealing and we’re incredibly proud to be its creators. Of course, it had to be a suitably elegant, sophisticated, beautifully crafted gin and bottle… truly top-notch but always affable and pleasant. It is hand crafted in small batches in our lovely copper still “Felicity”. Read more about the gin
Our distillery is located in the heart of Ealing but we hope our gin will travel far and wide to spread its good spirit. Along the way we want to actively support good causes that are close to our hearts as a family. We know that feeling part of something, having friends and a social circle, lies at the heart of happiness so 20% of profits will be donated to charitable initiatives that address social isolation and loneliness… giving the vulnerable, less able and the old, opportunities to make friends, socialise and belong.
“A clean, smooth and thoroughly pleasing spirit.”
